“I’m not afraid of jail, I will speak my truth” – Doris Ogala

Nollywood actress  Doris Ogala  has finally broken her silence following her release after being arrested by  Pastor Chris Okafor  over alleged marriage betrayal claims. In an emotional post on Instagram, Doris revealed that much is happening behind the scenes, including things she wants to share with the world and lessons she hopes people will learn. For now, however, she is seeking God’s guidance before taking any action. According to her, she is unsure of her next step, but one thing is certain; when the time comes, she will speak her truth without fear. She emphasized that she does not wish harm on anyone and that neither jail nor intimidation scares her. She said: “I am not afraid of going to jail. I am not afraid of anyone. All I want is to speak my truth, and my truth I will speak.”

JJC Skillz allegations emerged from a fresh interview , reopening old wounds within Nigeria’s music industry. The artist, born Abdulrasheed Bello, claimed the events happened many years ago while they all lived in the United Kingdom. JJC Skillz allegations centre on claims of conspiracy, deception, and personal sacrifice during that period. Speaking on Echo Room, JJC Skillz alleged that Don Jazzy, D’banj, and others planned against him behind his back.

Actress Doris Ogala attempts suicide over failed promise

Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, has attempted suicide after Pastor Chris Okafor of the Grace Nation Bible Ministry ended their relationship. After she discovered that Okafor has ended their romance to propose to another woman, Doris Ogala stabbed herself in the hand leading to heavy bleeding. Sharing the video, actor Digidi Dunhill who was seen taking Doris to the hospital, said, “Please I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please you have to come to her aid because she cut hand. Doris are you trying to commit suicide?” DAILY POST reports that following the video from  Pastor Okafor’s engagement , the actress on Saturday December 13, 2025, dragged him for leaving her to propose to another woman despite promising her marriage. Speaking about their romance, Ogala, who claimed she once got pregnant for the clergyman, accused him of collecting money from her, leaking their sex video, her nude clip, and making her leave her marriage.

Reactions have continued to trail Senator Ned Nwoko’s outburst against his wife, Regina Daniels. DAILY POST reports that a disturbing video clip, which emerged online on Saturday, had captured the actress in a distressed situation where she alleged domestic violence in Ned’s house. Clearing the air on Sunday, the lawmaker in a statement he posted on his social media handles, attributed Regina’s outburst to influence of drugs and alcohol. According to Ned, the actress needs urgent rehabilitation “or else, I fear for her life”, stressing that Regina has relocated to where she will have full access to drugs. The lawmaker named Sammy, (a supposed brother to the actress) and one “tiny evil devil called Ann” as the supplier of the alleged drugs used by his wife.

Speaking in a recent CNN interview, the 30-year-old artist revealed how difficult it was for people to take her seriously. She stated that she often felt overlooked and unsupported during her early days in the industry. “It was really hard to get people to take me seriously, not just as a producer, but as a singer. I didn’t feel safe, and I didn’t feel seen, and I didn’t feel supported for a very long time,” she said. The “Free Mind” crooner stressed that authenticity remains her most important value, describing it as the foundation of her artistry.

Afrobeats singer Spyro has attributed his struggles with fear of failure to his father’s negative utterances during his childhood. Spyro, in an interview with Frank Edoho, revealed that his father’s constant criticism made him internalise the belief that he was a failure, leading to a persistent fear that plagued him. “I thought I was going to die broke. I always had this fear of failure. And my dad contributed to that. He took every opportunity he got to always tell me that I am a failure, so I had the fear of failure because I had internalized it,” he recalled. According to him, the fear was so overwhelming that it affected his academic performance, and he struggled with poor grades in secondary school. However, Spyro said his life took a transformative turn when he developed a personal relationship with God.

The widely circulated poster claimed a reward had been offered for information leading to her arrest. However, in a statement on Thursday shared on social media, the police described the poster as fake and misleading. Grammy-winning Nigerian music sensation Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has expressed excitement ahead of her performance at the inaugural   FIFA Club World Cup   final halftime show. The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is scheduled to hold between June 14 and July 13 in the United States, with the highly anticipated halftime show billed for July 13 at the MetLife Stadium. According to a statement by Global Citizen, producers of the show, Tems will headline the show alongside Colombian hitmaker, J Balvin and American pop star, Doja, of a performance that will be broadcast live.
